Marines from the Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron-352 (VMGR-352), Marine Corp Air Station Miramar, California, perform a Rapid Ground Refueling of two Navy H-60 Seahawk helicopters. Members of VMGR-352 deployed to a forward location to provide ground and aerial refueling in support of Operation ENDURING FREEDOM. In response to the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001 at the New York World Trade Center and the Pentagon, President George W. Bush initiated Operation ENDURING FREEDOM in support of the Global War on Terrorism (GWOT), fighting terrorism abroad.
