During Operation ENDURING FREEDOM Navy SEALS disembark an MC-130E Combat Talon, from the 16th Special Operations Wing, Hurlburt Field, Florida, to provide perimeter security for a maintenance team performing critical repairs to a MH-53J Pavelow Helicopter at a forward deployed airfield. Operation ENDURING FREEDOM is in support of the Global War on Terrorism (GWOT), fighting terrorism abroad, after the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001 at the New York World Trade Center and the Pentagon.
